Molecular formula: CaCl2CaCl2H2O
Calcium chloride has the characteristics such as heat release while dissolution, low freezing point of aqueous solution, strong capability of moisture absorption, weak capability of metal corrosion, and it can speed up the coagulation of organic polymer substance. Therefore, it is applied widely in following aspects:
1.Used in the condensing agent of drying, dehydration, leather-making and rubber processing, the wetting agent of textile industry, flotation agent of ore dressing, etc.
2.Used in deicing and snow melting in roads, expressways, parking lots, airports and docks. 
 

3.Dehydrating agent of oil drilling, drilling fluid and completion fluid, petrochemical industry 
4.Used to prevent dust, grime and mine dust;
5.Calcium chloride solution can be used as the flocculating agent in the seaweed blending with natrium industry and soybean industry; the cold carrier of refrigeration and cold drinks industry; sewage disposal
6.used to prevent wheat, apple, cabbage, etc, from decaying, and as food preservatives, vegetable drying and fresh preservation.
7. Used as antifreeze of concrete to speed up the solidification of the cement.
8. Used in manufacture of calcium by fuse electrolysis, and acts as the raw material of other noble metals.
